Job Listing: Social Media Manager (Hybrid Position)

RŌZ is hiring a passionate, detail oriented team member to join the Marketing & Branding Team as a Social Media Manager. As the Social Media Manager, you will play a supporting role in planning, developing, and executing social media strategy to support brand awareness and facilitate product launches. Your responsibilities will include executing RŌZ’s growing Social Media Strategy, generating engaging brand content and working cross-functionally across a growing team to bring our brand values to life. We’re looking for a strong communicator who loves to innovate and build. 

Responsibilities & Duties (include but are not limited to): 

  • Strategy & Positioning: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that is aligned with our brand objectives and audience targets
    • Innovate and brainstorm new ideas and directions for social content and marketing campaigns
    • Coordinate with various teams to ensure seamless execution of social media initiatives aligned with marketing goals. Maintain brand coherence in messaging, tone, and visuals across all social media platforms by establishing and enforcing guidelines.
  • Calendar Management: Oversee the social media calendar to ensure alignment across teams and consistency in go-to-market (GTM) strategies
  • Platform Management: Manage daily operations of all social media channels, including content scheduling, monitoring, and engagement
  • Content Creation: Generate compelling and visually captivating content for diverse social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
    • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to produce high-quality graphics, photographs, videos, and written material.
    • Coordinating UGC with talent
    • Supporting the development and expansion of the PRŌZ Channel + Community 
      • Developing new content franchises
      • Supporting the development of educational content and materials 
  • Community Management: Cultivate a thriving online community of passionate brand supporters through proactive interaction, including engaging with followers, addressing comments and messages, and sparking valuable discussions.
    • Monitor social media platforms for customer feedback, complaints, and queries, ensuring prompt and courteous responses.
  • Analytics: Track social media metrics, assess campaign efficacy, and produce routine reports to gauge the impact of social media endeavors. Offer practical suggestions to enhance content quality, interaction levels, and conversion rates.



  • Based in Los Angeles
  • Working in-person from the RŌZ Silver Lake office 2x per week
  • 3-5 years of experience managing social media
  • Expertise in major social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Proficient in content creation and community management
  • Familiarity with third-party social media tools like Sprout Social, Planoly, Later, etc
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage social media in real-time with minimal oversight
  • Experience in video creation, photo editing, and other content creation tools
  • Design experience is a plus, particularly with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite

  • Willing and ready to get their hands dirty, and enter into the work with the understanding that we are building out processes in real time
  • Versatile and flexible- comfortable with multi-tasking across a variety of detailed tasks at once, particularly as it relates to copywriting
  • Empathetic and thoughtful- excellent communication skills and a solid ability to project manage across multiple partners
  • Detailed and thorough- reviews work diligently before, during, and after a campaign against Brand Voice, tone, and positioning
  • Has a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership: when given a task, you are able to ask the specific tactical questions you need along the way while making your own process roadmap for the work and making recommendations on how it can get done the most efficiently and effectively
  • Fantastic organizational and time-management skills. A hands-on self-starter who is comfortable with fast turnarounds and tight timelines. Ability to work well both independently and within a team
  • Previous experience shooting and editing short & long form video; comfortable being on camera
  • Analytic approach to decision making with a laser focus on hypothesizing, testing, learning, and optimizing future campaigns


Reports to: Marketing Director

Salary: Compensation + benefits package will depend upon the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience and location.
