FAQ
While the majority of our packaging is made of fully recyclable clear glass and aluminum that can go through your home recycling once clean, components like pumps, droppers, and pouches are not accepted by standard curbside recycling. They’re too small or too complex for traditional systems to process, which means they usually end up in landfills or oceans.
This program helps close that loop, giving your clean, empty beauty containers a real chance at a second life.
You can return every part of your RŌZ products: bottles, pumps, droppers, lids.
That said - our clear glass bottles and aluminum bottles can be recycled at home, so the choice is yours.
In all cases, please make sure they’re clean and empty.
We’re proud to make sustainability feel effortless with RŌZ. You can send beauty empties of all brands to our mail-back program. Every little bit helps!
Yes, a quick rinse goes a long way. Packaging must be clean and dry before it's recycled—think of it as giving your empties a proper send-off. Not sure where to start? Here’s a quick guide on how to prep your products.
We work with our partners to give every material the best possible second life. Here’s how it breaks down:
- Recycled into new products (like new beauty packaging)
- Down-cycled into materials like composite decking
- Molecularly recycled to be rebuilt into something entirely new
- Waste-to-energy or waste to concrete for items that can’t be repurposed any other way
It’s not just recycling—it’s reimagining where beauty can go from here.
