Growing up in the Laurel Canyon area of Los Angeles, Mara Roszak was exposed to a broad range of aesthetics. At 15, she began her hairstyling education, and within two years she was working with some of the most celebrated talents in the entertainment industry. The expansion of her career into the editorial and advertising arena soon followed.

After 20 years working with her illustrious celebrity clientele, including Emma Stone, Olivia Wilde, Zoe Saldana, and more, Mara felt that many of today’s top styling products were overly complicated and too heavy to achieve her signature fuss-free hair. So she reexamined her professional kit and consulted her fellow stylists — as well as their clients — about their dream product textures and formulas. Drawing on her industry expertise, she set out to create a nature-inspired line of clean, easy-to-use hair essentials that deliver exceptionally beautiful results.
