The RŌZ Foundation Fund

At RŌZ, we believe in nurturing the beauty industry from the ground up—and those roots begin in beauty school. Driven by a deep passion for hair, our founder, Mara Roszak, began her journey in cosmetology at just 16 years old. Through this scholarship, we’re proud to invest in the next generation of professional cosmetologists.

Scholarship opportunity

RŌZ has partnered with Paul Mitchell The School Costa Mesa and will award 5 scholarships annually. Each scholarship covers the full cost of the Paul Mitchell Cosmetology Kit ($2,675 value per student and includes all cosmetology tools, product and iPad).

In addition, this program includes mentorship with founder Mara Roszak - a unique opportunity to grow under the guidance and support of someone who knows the industry inside and out. The mentorship includes three 1 hour sessions with Mara via zoom or in person if scheduling permits.

How do you apply?

Eligibility Requirements

The RŌZ Foundation Fund is currently offered to students eligible for financial aid at Paul Mitchell The School Costa Mesa. 

  • Applicants must be incoming Cosmetology students at Paul Mitchell The School Costa Mesa and provide an acceptance letter.
  • All future professionals who wish to apply for this scholarship must complete a FAFSA form with Paul Mitchell The School Costa Mesa. 

Applicants who have met the above requirements will be directed to fill out The Foundation Fund Application Form. Applicants will receive confirmation once the form has been received for consideration.

What's included in the scholarship?

The Foundation Fund covers the cost of the Paul Mitchell Cosmetology Kit and iPad required upon enrollment ($2,675 value). 

  • RŌZ to offer 5 scholarships per academic year
  • The scholarship also includes a mentorship program with RŌZ founder, hairstylist Mara Roszak in the form of three (3) 1-hour check-in meetings during their cosmetology school tenure.
