It all started with a blowout: at 13, our founder Mara Roszak taught herself how to style her own frizzy, thick, curly hair in a time where sleek, straight looks were all the rage. Mastering her own hair unlocked her deep passion for hair in all forms. After beauty school, years (and thousands upon thousands more blowouts) on the salon floor, numerous red carpet looks for her celebrity clientele, and opening her own salon, Mare, in West Hollywood, she developed RŌZ, an edited assortment of clinically backed, effective hair formulas made with natural, sustainably sourced ingredients formulated by Mara with her 20+ years of hair expertise.
And this spring, RÕZ is blooming at Sephora.com and select stores nationwide.

With uncompromising quality and the highest standards, Mara pours her experience, heart, soul, and intention into every bottle. Beyond the formulas, we’re committed to sustainable practices. Our beautiful packaging primarily consists of easily recyclable aluminum and glass, and when we do use plastic, it contains a minimum of 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content.
