About Tina
Tina Malhotra owns Hair By Tina M, a private, appointment-only hair studio on West 57th Street in Midtown Manhattan. Before hair, she spent more than a decade as an entertainment publicist in New York and Los Angeles. She holds a sociology degree from New York University and trained at ARROJO Cosmetology, then assisted colorist Marie Robinson and apprenticed under Julien Farel. She later worked as a senior stylist at L'Appartement Hair Boudoir. Her work is known for soft, sun-kissed color, lived-in balayage and cuts designed to be easy to style at home.
