Tonight, RŌZ founder Mara Roszak styled Zoe Saldana (nominated for Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role) for the The 97th Academy Awards.

THE INSPIRATION:

Zoe’s soft flowing waves were inspired by the movement in her gorgeous YSL custom gown.  

GET THE LOOK:

Step 1

I started by applying RŌZ Root Lift Spray to roots & Air Thickening Spray to damp mid lengths and ends, with one pump of RŌZ Santa Lucia Styling Oil on ends for heat protection before blowing drying at high heat and high air flow settings.

Step 2

I then set the hair in pin curls and spritzed a thin layer of RŌZ Air Thickening Spray over the top and used the Dyson Supersonic™ with Diffuser attachment at high heat and high air flow to gently seal in the style and hold. Once pin curls were set, I carefully removed pins and gently brushed the hair out. Then added a couple rows of extensions to add fullness.

Step 3

Using a 1-inch and a 1 ¼-inch curling iron, I curled sections of the hair, alternating between the two barrel sizes and rotating the direction of the curls to create a soft, natural look.

Step 4

To finish, I added one pump of RŌZ Santa Lucia Styling Oil running it through the mid-lengths and ends of the hair to add smooth shine and a subtle, piecey texture.
