- Is the walnut oil refined?
- Hi Tania! Thank you for your question! Our shampoo and conditioner contain hydrolyzed walnut rather than highly refined oil. While the oil is processed (hydrolyzed) to improve its cosmetic performance, it may still contain some residual proteins that could potentially trigger a reaction, depending on the severity of the allergy. Because of this, we always recommend discussing with your doctor or performing a patch test before using any product containing walnut derivatives if you have a known walnut allergy.
